Reliable Accounting LLC ("we," "us," "our") provides tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, and IRS resolution services. Our secure client portal at myreliableaccounting.com/portal allows clients to upload documents, track return status, communicate with their preparer, and manage their account.
Access to the client portal requires verification via a one-time code sent to your email or phone number on file. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your contact information and for all activity that occurs through your authenticated session.
By providing your phone number and initiating a login, you consent to receive one-time verification codes via SMS from Reliable Accounting LLC. These messages are transactional and sent only when you request a login code. Message frequency: one message per login attempt. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS verification at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also use email verification as an alternative to SMS. We will not send marketing or promotional messages via SMS.
Documents uploaded through our portal are encrypted in transit and at rest using bank-level 256-bit encryption. You retain ownership of all documents you upload. We use your documents solely for the purpose of preparing your tax return and providing the services you have engaged us for.
We use AI technology to assist with document extraction and tax analysis. All AI-generated results are reviewed by a licensed Enrolled Agent before any return is filed. AI tools are used to enhance accuracy and efficiency — they do not replace human professional judgment.
We guarantee the accuracy of your tax return as prepared by us. If an error on our part results in penalties or interest assessed by the IRS, we will cover those costs. This guarantee does not apply to returns prepared based on incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent information provided by the client.
Fees for our services are communicated before work begins. Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept payment through the secure portal via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable once a return has been filed, except in cases covered by our accuracy guarantee.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reliable Accounting LLC's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Either party may terminate the engagement at any time with written notice. Upon termination, we will provide you with copies of any documents and work product. Portal access may be revoked upon termination of the client relationship.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active clients of material changes via email.
